💡 Project Title: Modelling the Life Course Impacts of Social Policies
Are you passionate about evidence-based policymaking and long-term health equity? 🌍 Join a groundbreaking NWO-funded project that develops simulation models to inform social policies and their effects throughout people’s lives.
📊 Using data from Statistics Netherlands, your work will focus on two urgent policy questions:
1️⃣ Free contraceptives for all age groups
2️⃣ Subsidized childcare for all families
👥 This is a collaborative project between the Department of Public Health at Erasmus MC and the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM) . You will work closely with another PhD candidate based at ESHPM.
🧠 What You Bring:
✅ Strong background in public health, economics, social sciences, or a related field
✅ Experience or interest in quantitative modelling and working with large datasets
✅ A drive to influence real-world policy through research
✅ For PhD applicants: a relevant Master’s degree
✅ For Postdoc applicants: a PhD in a relevant field
